2020-2021 Student Attendance Accounting Handbook– contains the official attendance accounting requirements that all public school districts and open-enrollment charter schools in Texas must meet. This is to ensure schools collect student attendance data correctly in order to properly maintain their allocated Foundation School Program (FSP) funds.
2020-2021 TEDS Data Standards– contains all the data elements, code tables, business rules, and data validations that districts must comply to in order to properly create, and load electronic PEIMS files (PEIMS Submissions) and the Core Collections to submit to the state. It also contains further documentation requirements in regards to Leavers and Discipline.
2020-2021 Daily Attendance Campuses Attendance Accounting Procedures- contains district procedures for those campuses who take attendance daily (once a day at the given snapshot time). Here campuses can find the daily procedures for teachers to take attendance and daily procedures for the Campus Attendance Clerk to reconcile attendance on a daily basis and for each 6 week reporting periods.
2020-2021 Student Enrollment and Withdrawal Procedures- contains district policies and procedures for campus registrars and personnel to be able to properly enroll a student or withdrawal them within the given guidelines set forth by the Student Attendance Accounting Handbook and the TEDS Data Standards. These procedures are created in a combined effort of the PEIMS and Student Services departments.
