Priority Charter Schools is dedicated to providing the resources necessary for our students’ academic and emotional success. Regular school attendance starting in Pre-kindergarten and continuing through high school is an essential part of that success. Students who are absent from school, miss out on valuable instruction time. Therefore, improving student attendance is a vital in making sure students are on-track to learn and maximizing their full potential. More importantly, parents and families have a significant role to ensure students get to school on a daily basis and on time.

Did you know?

  • Children with a high number of absences in kindergarten and 1st grade are much less likely to read at grade level by the end of 3rd.
  • By 6th grade, chronic absence is a proven early warning sign for students at risk for dropping out of school.
  • In the 9th grade, school attendance is a better indicator than test scores of a student’s likelihood to graduate from high school.

Our students mean a lot to us and we want them to be with us every school day. If students, parents, & school personnel work together, we will improve Priority Charter School’s attendance!
